What is a Hall of Fame Award?
Mike & Fawnette Angelides are proud to announce that once again, TripAdvisor® awarded The Azure Hotel a Certificate of Excellence Award, which honors hospitality excellence and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor®. When selecting the Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor® uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account reviews ratings. Another interesting fact to mention is that no hotel can “pay” for a Certificate of Excellence, a special achievement that is automatically given to only qualifying businesses on TripAdvisor®, and there is never any purchase required to qualify in their own words.
Businesses must maintain an overall bubble rating of at least four out of five, volume and frequency of reviews. Additional criteria include a business’ tenure and popularity ranking on the site. All this resulted in the HALL OF FAME Award, signed by the President of Trip Advisor, Mark Charron: “This unique accolade is granted only to those businesses that have won the Certificate of Excellence for five years in a row.“
